Does anyone know how to contact Brian?
right here!
Love Mick guitarist extraordinarily talented together with Bowie mind blowing. ❤❤❤❤
Ronno was a monster.
Well said Mr bowie.
Yes,never enough. Thank you.
This is so beautiful! The goosebumps really kick in at 0:40. Performing this on an electric guitar reminds me of Mick Ronson's recording and performances of Richard Rogers', "Slaughter on 10th Avenue." He played with such "feeling" as do you. Thank you for bringing this to us. Best wishes. (Liked and Subscribed)
thanks for this comment
Rondo forever!
Happy Heavenly Birthday Mick!❤🎸
God like ❤
I love how you keep coming back to Width Of A Circle from Hammersmith Odeon...
I think he’s one of the most melodic players in the rock style. He is so thoughtful in his soloing. Able to surprise the listener by playing gripping solos while honouring the song and the original melody. There’s not many that can do that. Most guitarists resort to volume speed and flash ! I can only think of Phil manzanira and Peter green and Rory Gallagher that can stand alongside the wonderful mr ronson. Bowies early success depended so much on him and his guitar playing and arrangement skills
Biggest mistake Bowie ever made was letting go of Mick.
Thank you, really nice to watch and hear this. 🇦🇺🎸🤟🏼
Mick is a guitar playing God. He serves the Song. He knows when to hold back, and when to let it RIP. Sorely missed. Much love and respect.
That 'Tumbleweed Connection' version of Madman / Water was what made me an instant fan. I'm so happy that Bowie gave Mick the green light and blast off.
Surprisingly forgotten as far as guitarists go,one of the best, for sure
One of my favorite rock guitarists, had it all
Mick Ronson , hey brudda tanks fo da da kine post heh, Mick wasn’t just the man but a time in Bowie career in which Mick composed and rearranged some of Bowies song writings and made that Les Paul scream which some of the best long note feedback from his guitar to his explosive sounding tube amps, what a great showman humbled than most known philosophers just an underrated musician which I’ve have over 50 years of much enjoyed music they performed together what a great career they both had they will be missed for influencing so many talented artist today, thanks for reading .k-den shoots brah!’
He was the Naz!
Even Nature Boy Rick Flair was influenced by Mick Ronson~lol! just sayin'.....Mick Ronson is right up there with Berry, Richards,Beck,Page, Hendrix, Clapton,Iommi, Gilmour, Townsend, Blackmore,May, Lifeson etc.as far as influence and contributions to R&R-as it intends,in my opinion of course..his tone, hooks, riffs, arrangements, stage presence and showmanship are part of the measuring stick as for what-by definition,a guitarists is.....
A great human being. Ive been a Huge fan. I'm an old man now, but my Junior High school years all the early music Shaped me as a human being. When he left us it broke Me. Freaking Cancer. Then same thing takes DB. I have the music to tie me over till I catch them on the ``B" Side.
understand that. I was 14 and hearing him play is war made me need an electric guitar. Had to make those kinds of sounds.
Randy Rhoades
They look a like
OMG!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I forgot he had a shtick with Mott the Hoople. Ronson deserves all the accolades!!

Absolutely legendary and stunningly beautiful! 🎵
Mick was much more than an "early '70s guitar player".
Love Mick Robson. He was so much more than a guitarist and the sound of Ziggy Stardust. But what a Sound! I wrote him in for Rolling Stones greatest guitarists list.
Maybe more. But he didnt write or co write any bowies songs
Yeah but he did a bunch of arranging which Bowie credits him for on the albums. That was the kind of stuff Lennon and McCartney did for each other often. Not co write per se, but rearrange and edit a song into a better song
and one hell of a nice guy too.
One of my favorite videos lol, learning guitar so I can ‘thrash it’ around one day, to put it in Micks words haha
He looks like my Aunty Tanya going up the bingo in 1973.
The Mighty Mick
Shame famous Dave flicked 'im off in '73 after paying him 40 pounds a week
Beautiful and heartfelt. Thanks for sharing this. Mick was a brilliant, sweet and once-in-a-lifetime shining star on this planet. Met him once and had a couple of beers with him at Pete's Tavern in NYC in the early 1980's. He couldn't have been nicer or more generous. He is truly missed.
Mick was great.
This is so freaking beautiful. Thank you!
Thank you...I appreciate your reply
I never tire at watching and listening to Micks solo on "the width of a circle"
Yea, an underrated album for sure!
@@empoweryou1it's pretty much a Ronson album.i read that at the time Bowie spent most of the time in bed and let Ronson do the heavy lifting. In fact the track "she shook me cold" from that album was mostly Ronsons work. As was written in an interview "Ronson Woody and Bolder tried to out zeppelin.. Led zeppelin and disappeared into a room for a day and came up with that"
Me either! It gives me chills!
That 50th Anniversary Live Album from 1973...OMG!
Great to see this.
One of the first guitar players I idolized for solo moonage daydream I also likes Ariel bender guitar player for Mott the hoople after mick ralphs
same with me and Moonage Daydream. It made me have to get an electric guitar so I could make those sounds
Mick was one of the all-time greats in made David Bowie in 1970
So he had no idea if it was 3 or 4 days ago? That's poor from Bowie.
What really sucks is how Bowie dumped the whole group after the spiders gig, it seemed like a slick attempt to distance himself so he would not have to compensate the others including his so called buddy Ronson. Stuff like that is unforgivable, low down, classless, display of poor character, those guys would have never been as slippery and cold as Bowie proved to be by placing more value on paper rather than his partners in crime. Those who stoop this low have a stone cold heart that can't be warmed up, a real cheap shot Bowie, was money really worth it???
Love this but please can you redo this with double or better airtime for each riff
That live performance of “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” is f*cking wicked!
Ronno, Hendrix and Zappa….the wah wah Grand Masters!!
Love it! Sounds great. Reminds me of Erlend Krauser.
thank you
3:15 Ziggy
Just to keep the algorithm going... Love rono.! Love Bowie!
OK, this broke me.
Mick Ronson can also be seen in the Rolling Thunder Revue with Bob Dylan. He was the lead guitarist on that tour. Some great stuff if you haven't seen it.
